Primers are complete tool packages that facilitate access to new technology with easy-to-use tools, sample applications that are tailored to the target devices' key features and a collaborative internet environment to provide all the resources and advice that you need to get started.
The MCU Circle encompasses a set of dedicated sites for each family of supported microcontrollers. It provides announcements of all of the latest major developments concerning the Primers, including new product launches.
The dedicated sites allow you to register as a user and access all of the materials and services supporting your Primer. If you have just bought a Primer, go to the associated sub-site to get your software tool installation and the instructions to help you get started. EvoPrimer for STM32L EnergyLite Line
Try out the feature integration and ultra-low power consumption features of the STM32L microcontroller line with a fun, cost-effective promotional tool package featuring an STM32L152VB Target Board.
The STM32L152VB Target Board operates in a standalone mode with temperature and pressure sensors. Operating on its own rechargeable battery it can collect and display temperature and ambient pressure data. The application highlights power saving technologies like the "EnergyLite" features of the STM32L family and annex components such as the SX8724 signal conditioner for temperature and pressure sensors, which is based on Semtech’s low power ZoomingADC technology.
The base platform of the Primer provides features that are fun and pertinent, such as a color LCD touchscreen, audio circuit and GUI. The Target Board with STM32L152VB operates the full range of evaluation features when connected to the base. This newest generation of primer for STM32 offers compatability with applications for previous generations (STM32 Primer2 and STM32 Primer1). A wide range of sample applications covering the various features are already available on the dedicate internet site.
EvoPrimer for STM8L Ultra-Low Power Line
Try out the ultra-low power consumption features of the STM8L family with a fun, cost-effective promotional tool package featuring an STM8L152C6 Target Board.
The base platform of the Primer provides features that are fun and pertinent, such as a color LCD touchscreen, audio circuit and GUI. The Target Board with STM8L operates evaluation features when connected to the base, and is also a standalone temperature sensor application. When disconnected from the base, the Target Board can run on its own battery and can be recharged by the provided solar cells.
