This primer is dedicated to STMicroelectronic's SPC563 family of PowerPC core-based microcontrollers. It allows users to explore specifically the implementation of the CAN and LIN peripherals and to program the included SPC563x micorocntoller.
The SPC563 Primer interfaces with a host PC via USB.
For interface with CAN and LIN networks, it includes a DB9 type connector and 14-pin HE10 type connector. The "Read Me" file below provides further information about the pin assignments and the connection of the Primer to CAN and LIN networks.
In addition, the Primer includes an internal 24-pin connector, which allows additional access to peripherals and general purpose I/Os.
