    Fixes
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

        The fixes provided through this patch concern the RCSTM8 C Compiler:

        . The peephole optimizer may produce incorrect code in rare situations.

        . When using inline assembly, debugging was not possible with ST Visual
          Develop.

        . Bit initialization was inverting bit numbers in ST7 mode.


                    WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU APPLY THE PATCH
                   EVEN IF YOU DID NOT ENCOUNTER ANY ISSUE

    Installation

             |   If you are using any other RKit-STM8 version  |

        Follow these steps to install the patch:

        1) Unzip the files from the patch archive file.

        2) Make a backup of the RCSTM8.exe, RLSTM8.exe and MASTM8.exe files
           from your Ride Installation directory (in the "bin" subdirectory).
           The default is "C:\Program Files\Raisonance\Ride\Bin\".

        3) Copy the new files in place of the older ones.

        4) You are done. Check that the compiler is functional by opening an
           ST7/STM8 example from Ride7 and rebuilding it.
